At ITQ, we all stand for a passion for technology and a drive to share our knowledge. This led about 8 years ago for the first ITQers to join the vExpert program. The VMware vExpert program is VMware's global evangelism and advocacy program. Individuals can apply for membership twice a year and are selected by the VMware vExpert team and a delegation of vExpert PRO. These applications are checked on effort and impact for the VMware Community on various ways. These can be on activities like blogging, public speaking, book authoring or community work like VMUG or VMTN. The program gives the selected people some benefits like the possibility to network with over 2,000 other vExperts, Private webinars, licenses for test environments, and possibility to apply for some official Business Unit lead vExpert Sub programs.
This year ITQ was happy to announce we have in 2022 a total of 35 vExperts! With 23 vExperts in the Netherlands, 9 in Belgium & Luxemburg and 3 in our new Germany Business Unit, a lot of our employees are a part of the vExpert program. After the selection of 2022 vExperts a couple of sub programs opened for application. There are now 10 subprograms ranging from technical solutions till the PRO program.
In April the Business units shared the accepted vExperts for the sub programs. Also, here ITQ scored big with 29 sub program subscriptions. With these subscriptions our vExperts can connect more directly to the business units and peers to gain knowledge and use the extended experiences with the solutions. With these programs we will keep sharing our knowledge with the VMware Community for the next years! We are even blessed with 2 vExpert PRO members. The vExpert PRO sub program is created to create a network of vExperts around the world who are willing to identify and recruit new vExperts in their local communities and be mentors for these new vExperts. This gives us the possibility to grow the vExpert base within our customers and the further partner landscape in The Netherlands, Belgium & Luxembourg, and Germany.
