Beverwijk, 1 October 2021. ITQ invests in security by hiring Security Technologist Barry van Kampen! As an old acquaintance for the organization, Barry will be responsible for the further professionalization and expansion of the Security Solution at ITQ.
“After seven offensive security years, it is time to counter-attack in the field of defense,” says Barry, referring to the fact that there is a lot of attention for Security among customers and a great need for good solutions in a maze of Security tools. ITQ also sees this increase in customer expectations and the need for IT environments “that just need to be safe”, so that customers can sleep peacefully and not have to worry about their Security.
“With an ever-expanding IT landscape, the world is becoming more and more digital and dependent. This entails risks in which VMware, now one of the major security players, can play an important role. That interests me and I am happy to take up the challenge to keep our customers safe,” says Barry.
ITQ has been very active in the field of Security and is growing rapidly. Barry has indicated that he wants to expand the offensive Security part to the subject of “protecting the world”, whereby both a defensive and reactive approach fits the growth wishes of ITQ.
