Founded in 1992, SUSE is the world’s first provider of an Enterprise Linux distribution. Today, thousands of businesses worldwide rely on SUSE for their mission-critical computing and IT management needs.

Built on a foundation of transparent open-source technology, SUSE Enterprise Container Management (ECM) adds a portfolio of enterprise-level support options, security and governance capabilities, and other advanced functionalities to SUSE’s established best-of-breed cloud native technologies such as Rancher and Longhorn, helping you build a fully enterprise-ready cloud native platform.

As a European wide SUSE partner with a deep history in Infrastructure and the enterprise, and with our extensive experience in cloud native, open-source and platform engineering, ITQ is uniquely positioned to support you in building and managing a cutting-edge cloud native platform, built on SUSE open-source products.

Rancher Prime

Rancher is a powerful Kubernetes management tool to deploy, run and monitor Kubernetes clusters anywhere and on any provider. Rancher can provision Kubernetes from a hosted provider, provision compute nodes and then install Kubernetes onto them, or import existing Kubernetes clusters running anywhere. It enables at-scale Kubernetes fleet management.

Rancher adds significant value on top of Kubernetes, first by centralizing authentication and role-based access control (RBAC) for all clusters, giving admins the ability to control cluster access and security globally.

Rancher Prime augments the free Rancher community edition by including everything organizations need to securely deploy, run, and manage their containerized workloads anywhere.

Rancher Prime Support
Accelerate critical business outcomes with world-class technical support that goes above and beyond basic break-fix models and provides complete round-the-clock coverage for your Kubernetes deployments.
Curated and Trusted Application Delivery
Secure your software supply-chain with a trusted, enterprise-grade distribution platform, called Application Collection. This provides minimal, hardened images of key cloud native application building blocks, complete Software Artifacts (SLSA) certification, Software Bill of Materials (SBOM), and an OCI Prime Registry containing signed and trusted artifacts.
Platform Extensibility Through the UI
Integration options with SUSE’s entire secure, open cloud native portfolio, including tooling that enables self-service PaaS and an integrated Neuvector UI Extension providing best-in-class threat detection and security.
Use any Kubernetes Distribution
Run Rancher Prime on our certified and supported Kubernetes distributions, RKE2 and K3s, built by the Rancher by SUSE team, or add any conformant Kubernetes distribution of your choice, for centralized fleet-wide management of your Kubernetes estate, across on-prem and public cloud.
Enterprise Grade Observability with Stackstate

  • With the acquisition of Stackstate, Rancher Prime features powerful enterprise-ready Observability.
  • Easily operate, optimize and troubleshoot your Kubernetes applications so your teams can deliver more value with less effort.
  • Get a comprehensive and actionable view of your entire stack, including integrations like OpenTelemetry and Splunk.
  • Gain the insight you need to detect anomalies, pinpoint root causes, and optimize app performance across your full stack with an intuitive UI.

Longhorn

Longhorn is an official CNCF project that delivers a powerful open-source distributed storage platform for Kubernetes that can run anywhere. When combined with Rancher, Longhorn makes the deployment of highly available persistent block storage in your Kubernetes environment easy, fast and reliable.

Storage shouldn’t be complicated, and with Longhorn it’s not. Longhorn gives your teams a reliable, simple and easy-to-operate storage solution. Deployed with a single click from the Rancher application catalogue, it provides you with the ability to secure, provision and back up your storage across any Kubernetes cluster.

Harvester

Harvester is a modern hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) solution built for bare metal servers using enterprise-grade open-source technologies including Linux, KVM, Kubernetes, KubeVirt, and Longhorn.

Designed for users looking for a flexible and affordable solution to run cloud native and virtual machine (VM) workloads in your datacentre and at the edge, Harvester provides a single pane of glass for virtualization and cloud native workload management.

Harvester uses proven and mature open source software (OSS) components to build virtualization instead of proprietary kernels that are kept hidden from view.

As 100% open source, Harvester is free from the costly license fees of other HCI solutions. Plus, its foundation is based on existing technology such as Linux and kernel-based virtual machines.

SUSE Neuvector Prime

NeuVector provides a powerful end-to-end container security platform. This includes end-to-end vulnerability scanning and complete run-time protection for containers, pods and host. Add an enterprise-grade security layer to not only Kubernetes but your entire software supply-chain.
