Not a long time ago it was VMware's intention to make the new VMware PKS Solution Competency available. As of yesterday VMware started to put the partner enablement path in place on Partner University for partners who want to get ready.
VMware offers comprehensive cloud-native solutions across the stack from infrastructure to application to help enterprises build, run and manage modern applications with productivity, security and efficiency. Cloud-native technologies provide resiliency and auto-scaling through the use of microservices – modular applications that can be deployed, updated, scaled, and restarted without impact to the system or end users. Enterprises and service providers can deliver superior customer experiences 24x7.
In a digital world, businesses need to move quickly to increase customer acquisition and retention. By building and deploying cloud-native applications, IT can make quick updates and enhancements – so your business can deliver products and services at a more competitive pace.
This means for those partners who want to get started, here are the two new accreditations:
VMware Sales Professional – Cloud Native Applications (VSP-CNA)
VMware Technical Solutions Professional – Cloud Native Applications (VTSP-CNA)
While the new Solution Competency is not made available yet, it wil most likely be build up by other components which make the competency complete:
NSX-T Install, Configure, Manage (ICM)
VMware Network Virtualization Technical Certification (VCP-NV)
PKS Install, Configure, Manage (ICM) (coming soon)
The VMware Sales Professional – Cloud Native Applications (VSP-CNA) accreditation can be achieved by completing:
