I work in IT since 2004 and during my first year I got the opportunity to do a project with VMware ESX 2.1 for a logistics company and it was love at first sight. The years following I gained knowledge and experience with the enterprise virtualization products of Vmware. As a primary storage engineer the crossover to a all-round virtualization consultant happened with the adoption of IP storage protocols. With the transition of IT due to virtualization to a Software Defined Datacenter my role changed and became broader. With virtualization we can finally connect edge to cloud without borders for business processes and enable people to do better and more in less time.
