My passion for virtualization started with VMware Workstation 5. I was very impressed with the power of this product. It was really cool to prepare/test migrations from Windows NT4/2000 Server to Windows Server 2003 on your own desktop. This sparked my passion for virtualization and it has been growing ever since. Nowadays, I’m still and even more convinced of the power of virtualization: it’s the future of IT. Over the last few years, End User Computing in particular has captured my attention: I share the vision of “Any device, Anywhere” where you can always use your apps and access your data wherever you are and whatever device you use: that’s how convenient IT should be!
