Many CEOs I talk to still hesitate when it comes to private cloud. They tell me it sounds expensive, complex or simply old school. But the real reason often lies elsewhere.
Too many rely on the stories told by vendors. And vendors, by definition, sell their own vision, not yours.
My advice is simple. Do your own research. Talk to peers who have made similar decisions. Benchmark your environment. Ask the questions that vendors often avoid.
Only then can you build a strategy that truly fits your business.
Because when IT is strategic to your company’s success, private cloud deserves to be part of the discussion. Not because someone says so, but because the facts inevitably point in that direction.
