Digital Workspace Consultant (M/F/X)

You are an experienced Consultant in the field of VMware End User Computing technologies and are able to quickly acquire new technologies. You securely identify customer use cases and translate them into solutions based on the agility of the virtual work environment.

You are passionate about technologies such as enterprise mobility management, digital workspaces, VDI, instant clones, user environment management, identity management, unified endpoint management and AI. You want to help our customers increase their productivity by designing and implementing digital workspaces.

You have a quick comprehension, want to develop your career and are based in Germany.

Technology

You are responsible for designing and delivering digital workplace solutions based on VMware technology to enterprise customers
You will work together with our sales colleagues as part of the technical presale to acquire new customers and translate their requirements into solutions
You support our VMware partner status by obtaining current VMware certifications such as VCP, VCAP, VCIX or VCDX
You’ll participate in creating best practices, white papers, blog posts, design templates and other materials related to VMware End User Computing Technology

Required skills

Studies in the field of computer science, IT specialist or comparable training
In-depth knowledge of one or more VMware EUC products (VMware Workspace ONE, VMware Unified Endpoint Management, VMware Horizon, App Volumes, User Environment Manager) and/or in-depth knowledge of one or more alternative EUC products (MobileIron, Microsoft Intune, Citrix)
In-depth knowledge of one or more application distribution products (App Volumes, ThinApp, App-V)
Experience in the VMware portfolio
Relevant professional experience in advising SMEs and enterprise customers in the field of end-user computing
Knowledge of one or more VMware SDDC products (vSphere, vSAN, vRealize Operations)
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows platforms (server and desktop)
Enthusiasm for new technologies and innovations
You speak German at native speaker level and your English skills are excellent in spoken and written

#1 Introduction

We’ll arrange meetings so you and our experts can get to know each other better. You’ll speak with the head of department, an ITQ founder, the HR department, and someone from your team. We’ve learned that Microsoft Teams or Zoom is great for all this, but real-life meetings are even better. We’ll happily discuss all this with you during the introduction.

#2 Employment terms

If both you and we are fully convinced—following our introductory meetings—that we can work together successfully, we’ll get in touch to discuss employment terms. It’s important for us to agree everything before you get started. We’ll go through our proposal with you and make sure everything is clear.

#3 Contract signing

Signing your contract after agreeing employment terms is always an exciting moment. We’ve fully digitized this process—someone from HR will contact you to explain it, so you know exactly what to do every step of the way. This has the great advantage that we can act quickly once everything has been agreed, with digital documentation for added security.

#4 Onboarding

Then it’s time to welcome you into the ITQ family. Onboarding at ITQ consists of various stages, and actually starts in the Introduction—getting to know each other during the recruitment stage. We stay in regular contact after you’ve signed the contract but not started yet, and try to answer any questions as best as we can. Then there’s an induction program ready for you in your first working week, to help you get to know ITQ and your new colleagues.
