As Business Developer - Sales Representative at ITQ, you are responsible for building and developing the customer base for ITQ in Belgium and Luxemburg. You have the opportunity to help build the company and have a lot of impact on its evolution.

About the role

You represent all ITQ services : managed services, consultancy services and support services.

You are responsible to build and develop the direct customer base for ITQ in Belgium and Luxemburg (customers and cloud providers), whilst supporting the indirect Go-To-Market for ITQ (partnerships).

You build, maintain and extend relationships with your customers by delivering additional value, based on innovative technologies. You become your customer’s trusted advisor, who understands their ‘why’ and helps to translate that into solutions and services to help the customer stay or become competitive.

You are a team player, experienced in sales of IT services, who loves to work together with presales, consultants, marketing and other sales across the ITQ family to build and document the total proposal and statement of work the customer is looking for. You follow up on your proposals and close win-win deals with the customer. You elevate marketing activities to generate sales opportunities.

You also ensure, together with Delivery, that the right consultant is on the right job with all the info they need to deliver a project within budget and expected quality.

You understand satisfied customers are the central goal within ITQ, and we accomplish that by excellent cooperation between all the different departments.

Ultimately, you drive growth, revenue and profitability.

    • in selling IT services
    • in selling subscriptions (driving consumption)
    • in direct sales to customers and/or cloud providers & complex sales cycles (& stakeholder management)
    • in indirect sales (working with partners)
    • in building a business development plan and successfully executing on it.

  • Ability to build and document proposals for IT services with presales support.
  • You have a relevant network at enterprise customers and cloud providers.
  • You speak fluently Dutch, French and English.

#1 Introduction

We’ll arrange meetings so you and our experts can get to know each other better. You’ll speak with the head of department, an ITQ founder, the HR department, and someone from your team. We’ve learned that Microsoft Teams or Zoom is great for all this, but real-life meetings are even better. We’ll happily discuss all this with you during the introduction.

#2 Employment terms

If both you and we are fully convinced—following our introductory meetings—that we can work together successfully, we’ll get in touch to discuss employment terms. It’s important for us to agree everything before you get started. We’ll go through our proposal with you and make sure everything is clear.

#3 Contract signing

Signing your contract after agreeing employment terms is always an exciting moment. We’ve fully digitized this process—someone from HR will contact you to explain it, so you know exactly what to do every step of the way. This has the great advantage that we can act quickly once everything has been agreed, with digital documentation for added security.

#4 Onboarding

Then it’s time to welcome you into the ITQ family. Onboarding at ITQ consists of various stages, and actually starts in the Introduction—getting to know each other during the recruitment stage. We stay in regular contact after you’ve signed the contract but not started yet, and try to answer any questions as best as we can. Then there’s an induction program ready for you in your first working week, to help you get to know ITQ and your new colleagues.
